Amy Irving first appeared on screen in Stephen King's Carrie (1976) and as the only survivor of the gym conflagration was able to appear in 1999's sequel The Rage: Carrie 2. She went on to win acclaim for such diverse film work as her Academy Award-nominated portrayal of Hadass in Yentl (1983) and her contribution of Jessica Rabbit's sultry singing voice to Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988). Other films worth mentioning include The Far Pavilions (1984), Crossing Delancey (1988), and Traffic (2000). She made her Broadway debut in 1981 in Amadeus, and earned an Obie Award for her performance in The Road to Mecca (1988). She was married to producer/director Steven Spielberg from 1985 to 1989 and wed Brazilian director Bruno Barreto in 1990
